Assalamualaikum wbt.
It feels forever since I last wrote something. I have been super busy with assignments, setting up the flat, buying things & buying more food. Unbelievable. We are super hungry all the time. 3kgs of chicken could vanish in a mere 5 days. Alhamdulillah for the super nearby halal grocer down by the alley.
I turned 24 last weekend. On 11th October. This year, we were in London. Accommodations are super expensive in London. It's expected. Until the very last minute, we decided to contact dear old friend if she could lend us a place where it's reasonably cheap (below £40 per night at least). Being her, the generous lady ever, she offered us her place to stay. Alhamdulillah. We saved so much money with her gesture. And her housemates, oh Ya Allah bless them with more sustenance. How could you ever find that many housemates with high tolerance level? It's unreal. One of them even let us use her room. She willingly squeeze in with her friend in another room. Not only me, they all do this for everyone who is coming to London. We met some awesome new friends & reconnect with our old one. May Allah bless them.
London was packed with people. Tourists everywhere. It's uncommon to see locals around. Unlike Sheffield, locals are localised (?) I guess. If that makes sense. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the 'mainstream' honeymoon spots. Hehe :P
