Discover Italy [ Floating City, Venice ]
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
اسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Italian Riviera is done, we head for Venice afterwards.
Due to our VERY last minute bookings, all that was left at the time was 1st class high-speed train called Frecciargento. It was my first experience hopping on a bullet train & boy, it was fast! 400kmph and we reached Venice in 2 and a half hour. The distance was 800km plus. Crazy. But my bank account isn't as excited as I was. :P
Upon reaching Venice, all we could see were fog & several yacht.
So we walked around the city, exploring the famous canals, tried gelato & vegetarian pizzas.
Nothing much to do since we were already tired from travelling for the past few days. So at the end of the day, we took a bus, head to our B&B, Hotel Gronda Lagunare and sleep. We had a 8am flight to Geneva the next day.
Tips
- Buy your bus ticket to the airport from the hotel receptionist. Please make sure you have coins/change ready.
