Marriage are not always shooting stars and confetti. When you get married, be prepared to not be the centre of attention anymore. When you were single, your father, brothers will treat you like a princess. Your mother will regard you as her queen. It is not the case when you are married.
As we know about this hadith, mothers took 3 places in rank of kindness in a man's life. Your current/future husband is included.
Be prepared to be the on the fourth place. Be prepared to be unheard of. Be prepared to be denied your wants. Be prepared to be put second when you request anything/help.
Though, it is not as bad as it sound. The situation will reverse once you had your own child. Be patient and endure. Some time in the future, your sons and (unmarried) daughters will do the same for you insyaAllah. And your daughters will be too when they had their own children.
Just, endure. Your time will come soon.
