The Ultimate Girl Crush.

I was browsing through my book collection this afternoon, I found a gem too precious to ignore. A book about my girl crush. My ultimate girl crush. She is, Sayyida Khadijah r.a. Mother of The Believers. Written by Abdul Malik Mujahid. The first wife of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.
She is described as a graceful & soft yet strong and supportive woman at the same time. Her level of perseverance is nothing compared to the wives of modern days. How she stood still beside her husband , Prophet Muhammad s.a.w when the Quraishy Arabs isolated them, how she cleans after her husband's wounds and dirty clothes when the jahiliyyah threw dirt & rocks as a protest against Islam those days. When Allah SWT tested them with the loss of their son, she remained patient and still giving Allah SWT her full submission.
How she has no doubt believing Rasulullah s.a.w when he first met Jibrael a.s in the Cave of Hira'. She comforts Rasulullah s.a.w with a blanket & tell him it's okay. She is the first women ever to accept Islam. How special she is. To an unimaginable extend. Limitless. Allah SWT has promised her a special place in His Jannah. MasyaAllah. What a great woman she is.
I wish to be like her. To stand still beside my husband & not complaining when Allah SWT delivered His tests. Verily, His tests are the signs Allah SWT love us. Let us be the unimaginable wives to our husbands. May Allah grant us happiness & contentment with our marriage. May Allah SWT make our husbands the best man as His servants, as our husbands & the father of our child InsyaAllah. May Allah SWT make us the best servants, wives & nurturing mothers to our children.
