اسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
I was born with a very, very sensitive skin. Ever since I was a baby, I couldn't even wear normal diapers. Mum said I would develop rashes all over my skin & I would cry all night long. She then had to put me on diaper towels and potty trained me at a very young age.
Nevertheless, the situation does not lessen even until now. I still develop rashes here & there. Some rash comes and go, but my eczema stays. I have eczema on my right fingers for as long as I can remember. It all started with never ending itchiness and one day, the skin started to flake. It was only on one finger then, but now I have them on all fingers.
Winter & my sensitive skin does not agree with each other. I have numerous industrial strong products up to mild ones stashed in my vanity cabinet. Last December, when we decided to travel, I was gutted. My skin wasn't at its best condition & I do not have any travel size products. With a mission after my exam, we head out to Boots & bought the most travel friendly, affordable moisturiser I laid my eyes on. I had no idea that my skin would love it to bits. During our travel, I bought a facial cleanser in Italy because we forgot to pack ours. Being sensitive as ever, my skin does not act aggressively towards both of the products. Huge success. Hence, this is why I decided to finally share my travel, sensitive skin-friendly products.
These are my skin's holy grail during our travel. On the most right, that is a Hydrocortisone (read:steroid) cream for my right hand eczema. I used to take steroid shots when I was younger, but the specialist decided to halt the treatment since there were so many side effects happening at the time. Occasionally, when my right fingers are angry (read:mega dry, split up, bled & wounded) due to stress, harsh weather, suds, I would opt for whatever steroid cream available.
